Bairaha Farms PLC (BFPLC) is a Sri Lanka-based company engaged in integrated poultry farming. The Company owns and manages chicken processing factory. It also owns and operates three breeder farms and provides Eliza and Bacteriological Laboratory services both to Bairaha Group and the poultry industry. The activities covered ranged from breeding of poultry, production of broiler day-old-chicks, processing and marketing of its own brand of Bairaha broiler chicken and cut-ups, as well as marketing of a diverse range of products required by the livestock sector, specially the Antec range of disinfectants from the United Kingdom. As of March 31, 2012, the Company's wholly owned subsidiaries included Hill Country Farms Ltd., Bairaha Foods (Pvt) Ltd., Lanka Land Development Ltd. and HCF Land Development Ltd., among others.
