Commercial Leasing & Finance PLC was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in April 1988 and in 1992 converted into a Public Limited Company and listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange. In 2008 the company submitted an application to delist from Colombo Stock Exchange and it was treated as de-listed with effect from July 01, 2009. Company has relisted in Colombo Stock Exchange in June 2012 in compliance with the CBSL Directions with the divestment of 10% of the stated capital. The principal activities of the Company comprised of leasing, hire purchase, loans, and mobilization of public deposits.The immediate and ultimate holding company is Lanka ORIX Leasing Company PLC, which is incorporated in Sri Lanka.
