Colombo Dockyard PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company engaged in ship repair, shipbuilding, heavy engineering and offshore engineering. The Company operates through four segments: Ship Repair, including tankers, general cargo, container carriers, passenger vessels, fishing trawlers, tugs, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tankers, dredgers, navel vessels, cement carriers, offshore support vessels, barge, bulk carriers, research vessels and others; New Construction, including tugs, passenger vessels, supply vessels; Heavy Engineering, including infrastructure, heavy fabrication, services and power generation; and Material Sales. The Company operates four graving dry-docks, with a maximum capacity of 125,000 deadweight (DWT) and repair berth facilities. As of December 31, 2013, the Company's subsidiaries included Dockyard General Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd. and Ceylon Shipping Agency (Pte) Ltd, Singapore.
