Ceylon Beverage Holdings PLC, formerly Ceylon Brewery PLC, is a Sri Lanka-based investment holding company. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is engaged in brewing and retailing of beers for the local and export markets, as well as retailing of alcohol products for the local market through owned and/or managed wine shops and pubs. It also imports and markets both locally and overseas renowned global beer brands. As of March 31, 2013, the Company had four subsidiaries, namely Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC, Pubs ‘N Places (Private) Limited, Retail Spaces (Private) Limited and Luxury Brands (Private) Limited. As of the same date, its parent company was Carson Cumberbatch PLC (CCPLC). Effective July 4, 2011, the Company has changed its name to Ceylon Beverage Holdings PLC from Ceylon Brewery PLC.
